I’ll confess that this was yesterday’s photo, but yesterday I did the quilt hand over too, so I couldn’t do this photo and wanted to. It represents a lot to me. Here I was going to art, but spotted Elsie dog walking, as she does for a business near her. Daisy and I joined her. It’s always amazing to me that with time, you get to know people. The community becomes part of you, even when it’s spread out and rural. People who were once strangers become friends. It can be bleak weather, but you “weather” it with your friendships. Every place we have lived, and there have been many! this always happens. I thought it would be harder here, but somehow it’s more important to all of us on this shore, as we don’t have the city to distract us. We all love nature, all embrace where we live. A little dog walking goes a long way!
