CLICK ON PHOTO This is part of a quilt, made by Barbara Olson (you can look her up) that I saw last night at a quit lecture given by the artist/quilter. The quilt is like a Georgia O’Keefe painting, a close up of a single flower, but here it is made of fabric, which impresses me so much. See the tiny stitches on the turned under edges? Unbelievable. It left me in a state of inspiration all of today, so much so that I bought a ball of wool to make a necklace with beads on it! What! a new artistic expression? can’t I stick with what I’m already doing? Blame it on flower power.
