It’s the end of the blossoms, in our house and outside. The colours of spring, in the blooming trees and shrubs, comes in with a blast, then leaves. Then the real effort of having plants, perennial or annual, to take over, comes in its wake. That’s what separates the true gardeners from the wannabes. Not sure where I fit, but I certainly love to see gardens. This is my time to want to be in the city, looking at people’s front yards, drooling over the good ones, imagining what I’d do with the others. And this entertainment is free!
