I was at Scrabble day today, out in East Jeddore, with very enthusiastic players. Evelyn had just turned 73…and Pat had returned from “HelpX” overseas work in Portugal, France and Ireland. Our players are all fascinating women, with the commonality of living on the Eastern Shore, and of course, loving Scrabble. These two are Tournament worthy…in fact Pat is one of three people representing N.S. in the over 50 age group, in the National games. I must say, between the superb food at out pot luck lunch, and the playing (with lots of laughter) I think this day is one of the highlights of each month.
