It’s amazing how children make us see the world anew, as they are discovering it. Here is Asa, at nearly 6 months, staring into the teapot as…can you see us? Frank (holding Asa), Jen (photographer) Drea and I are playing Scrabble. Normally, this study of the distorted reflection would not be something we would bother to do. Once Asa did his part…learning about his world…he lead us to look and be awed too. “Baby led Aweness” rather than “Baby led Parenting” could be the new catch phrase. Catch it anyways, even if you don’t have a baby around to help you. Just resolve to be awed. The world is full of wonders, if only we would look. It’s part of why it will be difficult to give up this blog in September, as the blog has led to my looking, or to better looking. I don’t want to lose that.
