Something really special for us about Toronto, or many parts of Ontario in the summer, is the ability to eat outside. We took it for granted when living here, but now, in foggy Three Fathom Harbour, we certainly do not. After spending the day eating lunch out with my brothers and sister in law, we then ate dinner outside at  Frank’s sister Lis, with her daughter Tess, and friend Frank. Another common event from when we lived here, is walking to get groceries, walking home with them. That’s just what we did in order to prepare the meal eaten above.  So two of my long list of favourite things, came to pass today. It’s best to keep your list of favourites to the fairly obtainable. Life is hard enough.
