Travelling today along the North Shore of the St. Lawrence from Quebec to Ste. Simeon, looking out at the tidal river. The view reminded me of the lookout near Wolfville. The closer we are to home, the more it calls me.
We stopped in La Malbaie. Beautiful Quebec art..I must be Quebecoise..the artists use so much colour! toured about…ate outside, a sweet time.
Then we took the ferry over to Riviere-du-Loup on the south shore of the St. Lawrence river…all getting us closer to our own Lawrencetown Beach.
The scenery from the ferry was gorgeous, but our eyes were smarting from staring so hard trying to spot whales. As the ferry was leaving, you could see Belugas in pods in the distance, so were certain we would see them up close. No such thing, but hope is not a lost feeling. Lovely penultimate day of our trip.
Eastcoastbabs! Your lovely vayca is coming to an end:( It was so lovely to see the pics of your adventures all along the way! I’m missing your lovely self and the newly relaxed Frank. I will take good care of his sandals (to be picked up this weekend) and give them back when you return next summer!
