We went into L.A. for an art show, held once a month on a Thurs. night, at 45 different spots…like our Nocturne in Halifax… Wes’s step-father had some digital photos in one of the spaces, and he was upset that this piece was hung upside down! But when we viewed it before his arrival, we didn’t know that, and yet it worked this way too. Part of what I love about art is the surprise that comes upon rotating a painting, and seeing that it works as well or better from a different viewpoint. Perhaps we could do this with our lives as needed.
Once again, art can viewed in different ways. The piece leaning against the easel says “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?”
