This is our living room today, but not next week, when, after we return from helping out in Wolfville, we’ll be a family of two again.  Now, we can laugh about how Kaia is choosing to go into the fort of her own accord, and how fascinated Asa is by his brother, and how inventive Forest is. Then, we’ll be talking about “remember when Forest kept wanting to make forts?” “Wasn’t it great watching Asa change from 4 months old to 8 months old, in front of us?” “Wasn’t Kaia so tolerant of Forest?”. Is there a lesson here? Probably not.

Many lessons; grab life as it happens, enjoy the small things or big ones like forts, think like a kid, forget messes if someone enjoys the moment, and….. you can do an awful lot of things with cardboard. Love the mailbox and peephole.
