A year in Days – my photo journal
Working hard to change up the front gardens…note Jen’s great idea…instead of using newspapers, we could recycle the recycleables and use the cereal boxes, tea boxes, cookies boxes, all that flimsy cardboard, on top of the grass and under the fresh soil.
Lovely hot day in Wolfville for this job.. by late afternoon we had two sides done. By then we’d recruited Frank, Will and Forest. I do love a project, and so do the others, which is fantastic!!
I’m sparing you the other side, the eye, the back end…but you get the picture..Daisy is so tall that walking around with this cone makes her bump into and under everything. Very unsettling for her…but each day is better. Dogs are so stoic…I’d be complaining! this is in the category of “what my dog taught me”…I’m listening, Daisy.
A man’s work is never done. Frank has made a fresh start on the counter surface..first with a cabinet scraper, now with frequent oiling. I can think of more jobs to be done, but Frank’s always one step ahead of me, doing something productive, before I can get my request in. That’s why a man’s work is never done.
