I spent three lovely sunny days in and around Brier Island with my hiking group. The weather was unbelievably warm. Beauty scenery, and wonderful fellow hikers.
Roses on the trail. Many of the hikers picked huge rose hips to make rose hip jelly. We were also eating blackberries off the bushes…organic.
In Brier Island by the ferry ramp. Love it, of course.
We stayed over in Cornwallis, where all 16 could be together. There was a beach, with sea glass, and lovely sunsets and misty mornings.
This was taken by our “captain”…we look like cormorants drying their wings. I’m the one in the long jacket. The trip ended with Frank hosting all of us! to a delicious lunch, served on our deck. I’m keeping this man.
Great pictures! Love the cormorants!
