This is a “Walking Iris”..it sends some leaves out that each bear a bud, which you can see in the first photo…and then the bud blooms, into this small but gorgeous iris flower, which lasts for one day only…you need to be there, at home, watching, to not miss that day. It gives a lot of pleasure for something so small…and each of those new flowers then start to grow a new plant (walking) that you can remove and plant and pass on. You can see one in the first photo on the bottom right. Now don’t all line up at once…
